Convert KML to CSV online
Upload a KML or KMZ, check it on the map, download a CSV table for Excel or Google Sheets.
Why convert KML to CSV here?
- One row per placemark: folder in
layer, name intext, each extended data field in its own column. - Points get
longitudeandlatitudecolumns; every object, lines and polygons too, gets its full shape as WKT. - UTF-8 with the marker Excel needs, so accents and non-Latin names display right.
- KMZ files are unzipped for you.
How it works
- UploadDrop your file, up to 50 MB. Nothing to install, no account.
- See it on the mapEvery layer drawn on a map in a minute or two. Click an object to see its attributes.
- Place & checkCoordinate system from the file, from the coordinate labels, by search or with 2 points. AI names the layers; you correct them.
- DownloadFiles under 1 MB are free (3 a day). Bigger files: one payment per conversion.

FAQ
How do I convert KML to CSV?
Drop the KML or KMZ above, check it on the map, then download data.csv and open it in Excel or Google Sheets.
What about lines and polygons?
They are rows too, with empty longitude/latitude and their full shape in the wkt column, which QGIS, PostGIS and most GIS tools read.
Can I put the CSV back on a map?
Yes. In QGIS use Layer › Add Delimited Text Layer, with the wkt column as geometry (or longitude/latitude for points). In Google My Maps, import it and pick the latitude and longitude columns.
How much does it cost?
The map preview is free, files under 1 MB download for free (3 a day), bigger files are $5.
What happens to my files?
Your files are deleted after 24 hours and never used for AI training. They are only used to make your conversion.
Can I get a refund?
No: the free map preview is there so you can check the result before you pay. If a file doesn't open, e-mail us and we'll fix the conversion.
Paid downloads?
Paid downloads open in a few days. Until then files under 1 MB download for free, and Max AI is free to try.
